5 Ways Compliments Can Improve Your Wellbeing

How do you feel about compliments, ?We've all been in that awkward moment when someone compliments you that you don't know what to say, and you feel awkward, and only after it hits you and you feel so good. Getting compliments feels so NICE! Recently, I was walking with a friend of mine and we saw this absolutely strikingly gorgeous woman. She must have been over 6 feet tall and was wearing this incredible outfit you only see on fashion magazines! She must have been a model - her empowered catwalk style walk definitely looked like she would be!My friend and I walked past her and we said to her "We absolutely love your outfit! You look amazing!"She could not get a word out of her mouth as we took her by surprise but she smiled so bright and held her hands against her heart in gratitude. That is the gift you can give to someone. You can really make someone's day and give them positivity boost - all with a simple compliment! Here are 5 ways compliments can improve our wellbeing:

Compliments are this beautiful way for us to boost each others self-esteem and connect, but why don't we do it more often? What is a compliment and what is not?How to give a compliment in the way that will not come off as "creepy"?How can I get better at receiving and giving compliments? These questions will be answered in this workshop. I got amazing Arna coming from Compliment Each Other movement to facilitate a space to give us strategies how we can get past the awkward and empower ourselves and others through compliments! You won't see compliments the same afterwards. This changed my way to receive them and also be confident to give more compliments to strangers (like the story above)! You don't want to miss this. I would love to see you there.Essi xxPS: See your Oracle reading for the upcoming two weeks below.

ORACLE READING

The world can be fast in speed, but what is the speed you want to move through? Do not let the external to push you to go faster, if going at the pace of a turtle feels right for you. Know progress is progress no matter how slow you might go. Just keep moving. Honor yourself. Let the speed you choose be your power, but don't let others determine it for you. This is your life. You go at it at the pace that is right for you. Something might come sooner than you think. Trust the movement of life. Don't rush into anything. Be sure you are centred and rooted and whatever decision you make will be from that place, not from rush, hasty energy. Is there a leap you have thought about taking? It awaits you, but don't rush.

Number 5 can be meaningful. Maybe something comes along within 5 days. Wait for 5 more days - then action on whatever you have been thinking about. Speed does not always win the race, but the one who moves through aligned energy does.
