And now I regret it! 😩

We've all had this moment at some stage of our lives, right?We see someone and we want to compliment them - but won't and regret it.We see someone in the public transport being so energetic, and their energy is wonderful, but we don't let them know, and we wish we did.We connect on Zoom with someone and we feel we want to connect more outside the breakout room, but we don't dare to say that.Or maybe like me this morning, I get to my 7am yoga class and next to me is a wonderfully fine looking man. We flow in sync of movement and breath the whole class and my heart is full just from his presence. And, I just wanted to just tell him: "Thank you, it was nice to share this class with you."I could say it when we were rolling up our matts and exchanged a smile.I could have said it when I walked past him at reception.BUT I DID NOT. 😩And now I regret it. Lesson learned is this simple:We regret NOT connecting more than getting out there and connecting and putting ourselves out there.Me saying something would have put me out there and it is scary. I let fear lead when my heart just wanted to connect with him... and yes perhaps I was hoping he would ask me out, too. 😂Want to say something? Just say it.Want to ask them out? Do it.Want to give that compliment? Give it!Connect.We regret things not done. We rarely regret things we did do.No matter the outcome - let it go.Just connect to connect and let it be.Take this lesson, and the next time there is something you want to express to someone, even if you just pass someone by or meet them for the first time: say it.Life is too short for things left unsaid, and connection always wins.That connection might make your day, their day, and I guarantee it will leave you feeling good and brave for doing it! Heartfully,EssiPS: I made a promise if I see this guy again, then it will be a sign and I will open my mouth and connect! Not gonna same mistake again. 😉
