OMG! WTF!? FFS!!!
These are just some of the feelings I've been having about change lately.Yup, I had the whole "what the f*** am I doing?" moment yesterday. When we take a heart-led leap, there will always be that "cold feet" moment where you're doubting the decision. Whether it is getting cold feet before getting married or cold feet of leaving that job, or in my case, going travelling and nomading. It will always come. That's part of it. The cold feet, the "what the f*** am I doing??" moment is part of the process. This Sunday, I'm going to leave my flat and be on the road for three months digital nomading, couch surfing, travelling for building my business, and seeing friends. The anxiety and fear hit me yesterday. The mind went: "Why on Earth are we doing this again?""This is insane! You're actually crazy to do this."”Can we change our mind still and back off?”Every heart-led leap has this moment. The mind is freaking scared, so it comes trying to protect you at all cost. The key thing is to keep connecting and keep moving through it. So, as this anxiety hit my chest, I got up and left my house to go on a walk, and first, I recorded a video to process.
"Essi, you know the 'feel the fear and do it anyway' quote? You're really good with the "do it anyway" part, but you need to allow space for the "feel the fear" part, too.
Yikes. That hit me like a nail on the head.
What are some heart-led leaps you're taking in your life?Or perhaps you're considering a leap but the mind is loud with fear protecting and standing in the way of you doing it?Have you given yourself moment to sit and process your feelings around it?
Given space both your mind and heart to have their say?
