200 people. One song. Here’s what happened.

Strangers came together for one night to sing and what unfolded was pure harmony, healing, and a reminder that human connection truly changes us, for good.

Dear Reader,

Last night, I witnessed something truly magical.

For one night only, Gaia Music Collective gathered about 200 of us together for three hours — to connect over one song.

Anyone was welcome. We flowed in harmonies, voices blending effortlessly, strangers standing side by side and creating something beautiful together. It was the perfect reminder of how deeply music heals and how naturally music connects.

During the sharing circle, people opened up about what this song meant to them — and their words were profound.

It made me wonder:
If we can come together for three hours with complete strangers and create such harmony…
how can we bring that same harmony into our daily lives?
how can we listen, soften, and connect with each other more deeply — within our closest circles, and even beyond?

Moments like these remind me that self-connection transforms us.
Connection within a group grounds us.
And when we come together from that place — open, curious, heart-led — it’s deeply healing.

For me, this song “For Good” from Wicked is about how even a single moment of connection can leave a lasting imprint on who we are becoming.

Just like a one-night-only moment like this can truly leave an effect you — for good.

I am still flying high from it. 💚🩷

This song reminded me how we truly become who we are through the growth we experience in connection — through the people and moments that shape us.
Some cross our paths for a season, others stay for a lifetime — but there is always a reason.

We become who we are meant to be by being mirrors for one another.
That’s why we’re here — together.

I’d love to invite you to journal on this:
Who or what has changed you for good this year?
What moments, people, or experiences have helped you grow into more of who you truly are?

It is time to start reflecting how this year has shaped you now that we are in November.

And finally, here’s a little glimpse of the magic from last night’s song. A video can’t quite capture the feeling, but if you can, put on your headphones, close your eyes, and just take in the lyrics — let it move you, the way it moved me. 💚🩷

“I've heard it said
That people come into our lives
For a reason
Bringing something we must learn
And we are led
To those who help us most to grow
If we let them
And we help them in return

Well, I don't know if I believe that's true
But I know I'm who I am today
Because I knew you”

Heartfully,
Essi xx

Let's keep connecting.
Because together is better.
