Today’s letter is a big one!

Connected You has been going for 4 years.
I can’t quite believe it. And I’ve got so much to update you on!

FIRST, STORY TIME: HOW DID THIS COMMUNITY START?

I remember being in the kitchen with my dear friend Kathy, brainstorming ideas for this community. We played around with words until she said it:
Connected YOU.

And something clicked. That was April 13th, 2022.

But really, this community began a year earlier.

In the quiet isolation of lockdown in early 2021, my close girlfriend craved deeper connection — something more meaningful than Zoom quizzes or endless scrolling. So I started gathering women online to talk, share, feel, and connect over meaningful topics.

That’s where the heart of this community was born.

Now, four years later, we’ve grown far beyond what I could’ve imagined.
But the mission is the same: to create real spaces for human connection — starting with ourselves, and then with each other.

Here are a few moments I’m celebrating:

We’re now 297 strong on Eventbrite — almost at 300!

🌀 Sunday, June 19th, 2022: Our first in-person circle happened in Stokey.
🌲 August 2023: Our first Women’s Walk & Talk Club in Epping Forest!
🎨 January 2024 we started our Connect + Create Clubs to walk and sketch in London’s galleries every month with our amazing Artist Alex Quick!
📣 Connected You is now officially a Limited Company — a huge step in building this movement!
