Hello my dear reader,

We say we want peace.

But the truth is… many of us don’t even know what that feels like.

Not really.

Because many of us have been living in survival mode for so long.

Always doing.
Always thinking.
Always anticipating the next thing.

Even when things are “calm” … our body isn’t.

Peace can feel unfamiliar.
Even uncomfortable at first.

Because your nervous system has been wired for alertness, not softness.

For coping, not resting.

This is something I’ve been learning deeply myself.

That peace isn’t something you suddenly arrive at.

It’s something you practice.
Something you create.
Something you allow yourself to feel, little by little.

Sometimes it starts very simply.

Putting your phone away.
Taking a breath.
Sitting in silence for a moment longer than usual.
But this takes reconditioning
To help your body relearn that
it’s safe to soften and slow down.

And maybe the real question is not:

“How do I find peace?”

But:

“Can I allow myself to soften and slow down… enough to actually feel it?”

When I burnt out last fall, I didn’t know how to stop.
Or how to sit in stillness.
Or how to have days that don’t have any outcome.

In fact, I resisted it for months and felt guilty about it.
That is part of the process.
It takes time.

But one thing I’ve come to understand is this:

If we want to experience peace, we need to create space for it.

This is exactly the kind of work I’ve been pouring into behind the scenes lately.

I am all about creating spaces in Connected You to give you tools and ways for you to reconnect with yourself,
but most importantly to give you a chance to create space within you.
To escape the noise.
So you can move out of survival and into something that feels more grounded, calm, and aligned.

A way of living that actually feels right for you.

My updated website is now live, and I’d love for you to explore it.

I’ll also be opening a few coaching and mentoring spaces for late May, if you feel called to go deeper into this work.

You can simply reply to this email if that’s something you’re curious about.

Because you deserve more than just getting through life.
You deserve to actually feel balanced and happy whilst living it. 🫀

🫀With love
and full heart,
Essi
